Description Dow has 3 very exciting and challenging opportunity for Sourcing Manager roles for North America Raw Materials and External Manufacturing located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. The Sourcing Manager creates value for Dow by defining sourcing opportunities, developing and aligning sourcing strategies, leveraging supplier relationships, analyzing market conditions, and negotiating with suppliers and internal partners to optimize sustained value for Dow. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of the discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. The selected candidates will manage one of the distinct portfolios:
1) Ammonia and Catalysts:
This person will responsible for managing Ammonia for both NA and EMEA, which includes manage all of our contracts, evaluate and review the strategy, engage key stakeholders, etc. On the catalyst space, this person will be the main point of contact to work more closely aligned to our operations team, partnering with them to provide proper support for a smooth end-to-end sourcing experience, work on project teams anticipating future needs, evaluating SRM and portfolio strategy for all catalyst. 2) DIS Raw Materials Sourcing Mgr:
The select candidate will collaborate with the DIS business and key stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, delivering supply reliability and competitiveness. This person will work very closely with Sourcing colleagues also supporting DIS to ensure alignment on critical requirements and initiatives beyond the direct portfolio managed. 3) External Manufacturing:
In partnership with the Businesses, External Manufacturing team, and other key stakeholders, the Sourcing Manager will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy for the portfolio. This role will be more dedicated to DIS Business, however might also lead projects that aligns to other Dow Businesses. Job Responsibilities / Duties:

Responsible for the negotiation, execution and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography. Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree OR at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. Qualifications:
A degree discipline in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business is preferred. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Solves complex problems. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
