5K a year Pediatric rehabilitation facility looking to add a Medical Insurance Specialist to their Internal Client Accounting Dept.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Insurance verification Authorizations for services Engagement with families for review of financials Preparation of statements and collection on accounts Resolve/appeal insurance denials Interaction with administrative and therapy staff from multiple offices Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the complexity of insurance and insurance prior authorizations.
They will be a team player who is self-motivated, with strong organization skills, be a creative problem solver, and have positive communication skills to interface with patients and team members in a professional manner.
