The Program Manager is the primary program-level interface to the customer during the development and launch phases of Lithium-Ion battery pack systems and modules. S/he will develop and maintain the master program timing plan, lead the program-level team and customer meetings, manage program-level financial tracking, and maintain project status dashboards. The disciplines under the management of the PM include Engineering (mechanical, electrical, software), Validation, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, and Purchasing. The Program Manager must have sufficiently broad knowledge of systems comprising mechancial, electrical, and embedded electronics and software, as well as experience with program management disciplines and tools to coordinate the actions of the program team. The Program Manager will agressively manage to milestones, looking ahead to identify and remove obstacles and conflicts. S/he will be expected to work within the product development process while continually improving that process.
Develop and maintain the master program-level workplan incorporating customer milestones and critical internal milestones from participating disciplines (engineering, validation, manufacturing, purchasing, including suppliers). This typically includes considerable interaction with the various disciplines to ensure their workplans remain synchronized with the mater plan.
Agressively manage the participating disciplines to meet key customer deliverables. This includes

Escalating issues as appropriate
Establish and maintain Program Budget for each discipline in the areas of
Production: Piece Cost, Tooling, Direct Labor
Development & Test: Engineering Labor, Purchased Services, Prototype Materials and Tooling,
Rigorously enforce Change Management discipline after Design Freeze to ensure parts, subassemblies, and systems are reflect and comply with the appropriate revision levels of the customer and product specifications. This tracking customer-driven changes that affect program timing, production piece price, tooling, non-recurring engineering costs, and/or prototype costs that can be reasonably negotiated with customers for price recovery.
Additional Support Responsibilities
Work with the System Engineer to monitor and enforce compliance with customer and internal requirement through active participation in product development meetings, design reviews, and workshops.
Proactively support design validation teams in test plan reviews to ensure testing strategies and methods truly stress and verify design compliance and safety.
Drive robust up-front engineering process & discipline including Boundary Diagrams, Interface Matrices, FMEA, Robustness Checklists, DFM, DFA, DVP&R;, RDM, and Special Characteristics.
Drive fast and thorough problem resolution through use of team-oriented problem solving tools, including 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, Is-IsNot techniques
M.S. in Mecanical or Electrical Engineering (B.S. acceptable with sufficient experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience leading projects through complete product development cycles including launch. PMI certification stronngly desired
Minimum 3 years of experience in design / release of electrical or mechanical components or systems into the transportation market
Working knowledge of APQP and PPAP disciplines
Experience in electric vehicle programs and battery design and/or integration is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of CANalyzer, CANoe and NI-based analysis and development tools is a plus
Experience in designing with a wide range of materials manufacturing processes, and DFA & DFM disciplines

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
