Dow Chemical Company has a challenging and exciting position for an Analytical Specialist - Separation Sciences to join our Analytical Technology Center located in Midland, MI .
For this position we are seeking candidates with expertise in Gas Chromatography, Ion Chromatography and/or Chromatograph to join our global analytical team. Our analytical researchers provide solutions to a wide variety of challenging problems for the manufacturing organization within The Dow Chemical Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced problem solving using Chromatography with a broad understanding of other analytical techniques. The candidate will be expected to work as part of a cross-functional team in partnership with manufacturing personnel in variety of application areas including organic synthesis, analytical needs assessments, plant troubleshooting, and method development.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree required. PhD preferred. Degree discipline in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry highly preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in Analytical Chemistry related field required or newly graduated PhD required.
Knowledge of Organic Chemistry required
Six Sigma knowledge preferred
A minimum requirement for this U.S.-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or qualifying Asylee/Refugee.)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
