Contract Negotiator

This temporary labor request is to obtain external resource to provide drafting, reviewing and managing high-volume, routine contracts.
Contracts are created based on Client contract templates, the contractor will provide document management, and lead business risk assessment and contract negotiator personnel to drive the contract management process and communications to internal stakeholders, category manager and vendors.
Specific tasks are as follows:
o Handle routine or standard template form contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with established contract policies and procedures;o Examples are routine contracts such as Purchase and Service Agreements; Master Construction Contracts; Master Purchase Agreements; and Consulting Service Agreements which have standardized templates for use in a geographic area;o Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance With appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and procurement procedure;o Ensure contract review, approval and execution are performed in accordance with the corporate guidelines;o Perform Risk Assessment involving internal stakeholders and category manager using a procurement form and process; and perform limited research on the vendor's company;o Analyze and apply sound judgment with support from Dow Corning contracts manager to vendor suggested clause changes, managing these changes and the vendor relationship during the contracting process;o Negotiate and suggest deviating non-standard contract language while working collaboratively with category managers with involvement of Client Legal;o Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda and contract documents/exhibits to ensure timely and coordinated submittal;o Ensure the contract terms are negotiated in accordance with established provisions;o Communicate with internal stakeholders, category managers and vendors via phone, email, and live meeting;o Document any agreed upon deviations from standard contract templates in a contract change summary form attached to Ariba ACW;o Update and manage in MS Word and Excel the contract documents from template selection to execution, including redlining, versioning and change comparisons;o Use Ariba ACW for selecting the template and maintain indexed information, approvals, and notes in the database repository;o Serve as the primary focal point and liaison with the internal stakeholders, category management and Legal while driving vendor interaction in the contracting process to result in a signed contract;o Prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files according to information asset management guidelines;o Communicate contract policy and practice to internal stakeholders during the contracting process;o Perform audits to ensure compliance with contract terms and vendor performance;o Provide monthly reports of contracts completed, in progress, including relevant activity dates;o Assist category managers in amending contracts by managing the document and negotiating terms with vendor, in accordance with established contract policies and procedures; REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
o Minimum 1year contract management experience preferably in a manufacturing company; or 2 years relevant business experience.
o Operational experience, and ability to influence stakeholders without authority, negotiating to keep making progress towards resultso Experience with Ariba or similar contracts management system a plus.
o Strong project management skills.
o Proficient with MS Office Suite, in particular, very strong Word skills and proficiency with Excel.
o No legal experience required but experience with managing and understand complex commercial documents are needed.
o Able to advise and interact with all levels of management and internal and external stakeholders.
o Able to demonstrate excellent analytical business skills.
o Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
